By using Iron U you agree to what is on this page. If you do not agree, do not use it. Iron U is made by Fabrique Futur LLC ("we", "us").
This is beta software
Iron U is in open beta. It is unfinished. Things will break, data may be lost, and features will change or disappear without notice. The beta is free of charge and we do not promise it will stay available, keep working, or keep your data.
Iron U is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, injury, illness, missed race, lost data or lost money arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
The plan is a suggestion, not an instruction
Your plan is produced by rules in our software and, in places, by a large language model. Both can be wrong. Sessions, heart-rate ceilings, calorie estimates, readiness colours and the sentence written under a session are all estimates made from imperfect data.
You decide what you do. You are responsible for your own training, your own health and your own safety. If a session looks wrong for you on the day, do not do it.
Iron U is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. See the medical disclaimer, which is part of these terms.
Open water is dangerous
Iron U will suggest sea swims, and it will hold them back when it has a reason to — a missing tow float, a forecast with no swimmable day. Those rules are advice, and nothing more. No one is watching you swim. The app cannot see the water you are standing in, does not know the currents, the boat traffic or your own state that morning, and its forecast can be out of date or simply wrong.
Never swim alone in open water. Use a bright tow float and a bright cap, tell someone where you are, and get out when you are unsure. The same goes for riding in traffic and for training in heat: the app's conditions layer is a hint, and the decision is always yours.
Your account
You need an account, and you must give a real email address. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One account is for one person. You must be at least 16 years old.
Everything you put into Iron U stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the app for you, as described in the privacy policy.
What you may not do
Do not use Iron U to break the law, to upload someone else's data or photos without their permission, to attack or overload the service, to get around the AI allowance, or to resell what it produces as a coaching service of your own.
If you enter your own OpenAI key, that account and its bills are yours.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time in Settings; everything goes with it. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or end the beta entirely, and will give notice by email where we reasonably can.
Changes
We will update these terms as the product changes. The version and date at the top tell you which version you are reading. Continuing to use Iron U after a change means you accept it.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming, USA, and the courts of Wyoming have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not take away rights you have as a consumer in the country where you live.
